Weather Underground is forecasting 70°F for Monday, NWS 66°F. 70°F is probably a stretch, good chance of coming close? Weather underground appears to add its own model corrections, but they haven't done badly. At least last week they were no worse, maybe slightly better than the NWS. Should feel warm with sun, either way. Forecast discussion:

FRIDAY NIGHT...SHOWERS WILL COME TO AN END AS A COLD FRONT MOVES
ACROSS SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND.

THIS WEEKEND...HIGH PRESSURE STARTS BUILDING IN BRINGING DRY
WEATHER. GUSTY NORTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL MAKE IT FEEL COOLER
SATURDAY BEHIND THE COLD FRONT. WINDS DIMINISH SUNDAY AND
TEMPERATURES WILL SOAR INTO THE 50S TO NEAR 60.

MONDAY...LOW PRESSURE MOVES ACROSS QUEBEC BRINGING A COLD FRONT
THROUGH SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND. THIS MAY BRING A PERIOD OF RAIN
SHOWERS TO THE REGION. TEMPERATURES WILL SOAR INTO THE 60S TO NEAR
70 AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...AS MENTIONED ABOVE...THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF
UNCERTAINTY DURING THIS TIME FRAME. THE SEASONABLE WEATHER APPEARS
TO BE HERE TO STAY THOUGH WITH TEMPERATURES CLIMBING INTO THE UPPER
50S TO MID 60S EACH DAY. ANOTHER FRONTAL PASSAGE IS POSSIBLE
WEDNESDAY WHICH WOULD BRING ANOTHER CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

Spring pattern for sure. Everyone in Northeast will LOVE this weekend. < Been saying that for while now. lol.

I have to look back, wasn't this week supposed to be that "hatrick" week we hoped for? (remember NWS Boston?)

Maybe next week is now. 90% chance it is.

Northern CT & many spots haven't had daytime temps above normal much. Each week featured just 2 or 3 days being near or above. This should change after today so will feel like a weight has been lifted for many folks.

Last month we were in the teens and 20s for lows.

http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/sit...OS&station=BDL

BDL has only been above normal with max temp 10 times since January 26th.

That's 10 out of last 74 days

Driest spring here in 19 years (that could change today)

6-10 day looking good... Let's see if we crack an 80 degree temp next week

Remember that map a few days that was posted showing next Thursday's (April 16) highs in the mid 70s from PA to Boston? Gone thanks to another backdoor cold front.

I feel like I'm in a different Galaxy, it's in the upper 30's right now, AND it's cloudy.

Lol, isn't this nuts?

1pm struggling past 30s. Amazing.

Breath in, Breath out!! (That's not from stress either) lol

Feels and smells like February

Gotta save some map images.

Ironically the 9th of April Is the last day on record that Bridgeport stayed in the 30s for the max temp.
