That El Nino isn't happening lol. It has already dissapated on the latest SST. I see the warm water all over the west coast again. As soon as another very average summer ends, this Fall and Winter will be frigid again in the east with that huge high pressure over the PNW due to the warm water. When the fu.... will that warm water dissapate. I'm so sick of looking at it.

Im really starting to think climate change is real, and the cold PDO that was supposed to last years is already over and done. Now we have 30 years of that warm water along the west coast. We will be in another ice age in the east.

I think it will happen, and probably back off into neutral by the winter

I agree

I don't think it's uncommon for long term oscillations in ocean cycles revert back for a while. Look at the Atlantic, it's tanking (going negative at least for now), and might effect summer sea ice

I remember why I love clouds in Spring and Summer. Struggling past low 40s here. Chilly day.

Well above normal in the sunny areas in the SouthEast to Ohio Valley.

Amazing to continue to see the SouthEast getting temperatures and dewpoints as what we get in July here. Sick. I don't know how they deal with that.

Step outside and take a deep breath Northeasterners today in the 40s. 80s will be coming soon enough.

The stalled front all week not letting the ridge pop just yet. And it looks just normal in the long range except 1 or 2 pops well above.

^^ Wow, 72 F in what looks like Morgantown, WV but only 46 F about 20 miles east.

Interesting temperature gradient today, 70s/80s in KY and TN (same areas that saw as low as -30 F just 6 weeks ago ) and only in the 30s in NJ ..

The 46 is nearly 1500 ft higher. Amazing difference.

And yet we do - it's called springtime. What I don't understand is why spring always, always come so frigging fast down here. This happens every April - guaranteed. Sure, we'll drop back down into 70's for a brief time here and there, but this is basically it, summer's here to stay.

I just hope I see some refreshingly cool weather when I go to Paris in 6 weeks...lol. I doubt I'll wear my long pants a single time before I get on that plane...lol.

That is the other thing I find so overwhelming and disgusting.

I'll take my 3 month season any day
