Could it be because water temps are in the 70s down there?

Sometimes its more than 10 degrees. Here's yesterday at 2pm. 69 at BDR. 81 at BDL. Clouds might of helped that situation but I'll see if it happens again soon and will post. Pretty fun to see.

That's why its a Love/Hate here. lol

Actually, right now its 74 at BDL and 64 at BDR. 10 again.

In fact southern side BDR has the lowest max for CT and northern side BDL has the highest. lol

Edmonton has been hit with a blast of wintry conditions and could not safely host Wednesday's planned first leg, the CSA announced

A cold front has gripped much of Western Canada this week, causing snow to fall as far away as Vancouver. Official word from the CSA is that Clarke Stadium's frozen field was "unplayable."

I can't wait for summer. We can't get the really warm nights until late May at the earliest. I love when we get warm summer days with evenings still in the mid 20s, perfect for sitting outside and having a drink

Most extreme I saw was 80°F here and 50°F right on the water in eastern Massachusetts. Think it was May. The ocean can be a giant air conditioner.

Sounds like it cools down slower there than here. What daytime high would that be accompanied by? High of 76°F today, 66°F around sunset. Very dry today, dew point went down to 31°F in the afternoon.

It was a dreary PNW-like day here in Denver. It's been like this since Sunday which is pretty strange I think. I like it though since it is a nice change from the sun.

Still looks like snow is on tap for Sunday.
