^^ When and where was that? I assume MA. I've never quite experienced the hairdrier feel outside Death Valley. 35°C doesn't cut it imo.

Wasn't even 35°C. Can't remember the day, but this day was close to was I was thinking of:

While I rarely see dewpoints lower than 65F/18C with temps that high, June 30, 2012 it was near 90 with dewpoints going from low 60s to upper 60s that day.

IEM :: Observation History

Here's the map of temps I posted the day before. That was a sick, sick period to go through. I thought we would all go up in flames LOL

June 27, 2012 temp was 83F/28C with Dewpoint of 39F/4C

Well.... there's always north. LOL

Latest Euro12z Monday (left) Tuesday(right) next week says a Big snowstorm for northern New England. 850T and SLP.

Yet ANOTHER coastal storm comes up.. (losing count now since October) notice as the storm comes up its above freezing at 4000 feet over NY, CT and RI. only when it departs it drops below.

Also notice the airmass is tiny.

That is about all this pattern will produce at the present time as the Pacific blowtorch continues next week. The odd thing is that the PNA is forecast to go into positive territory at the same time as the GFS wants to ramp up the storm parade in the Pacific. Things are not making sense again.

Looks like more El Nino influences to me. Also, I also see bad signs of milder air flowing into Canada past days 7-10. So, It looks to be late December before any real Winter weather hits the US again at this point.

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing right now... All the cold will be locked up in Asia
