Nobody will be on the roads, the local governments learned a big lesson last year. Right now, all schools have closed, all universities have closed, CDC announced closure, etc. etc. That would be an amazing gradient. At my house near downtown Atlanta, that is showing .5in of snow. The northern part of the city is showing 3in, and farther north huge amounts. That would be crazy to see down here
I don't even own a snow shovel, so hoping that this plays out and we don't get anything significant here!
They're calling for 2-4 inches of snow here and north of here, and always, where I live is dangerously close to that dreaded rain/border. A big plus is the total lack of sun today, which kept temperatures near freezing, and they shouldn't have much time to rise tomorrow morning. The positioning of the low looks good, the QPF looks good - only negatives are the temperature and the lateness of the winter season. If this was January, it would definitely be a "no sweat" storm...sucks that this has to come so late.
But I'll take what I can get - bring it on!
Tech is closing down due to anticipation of 2.5". Coming from NJ, I honestly feel like laughing (sorry about that). It looks like a typical late winter forecast to me. Well, enjoy the day off, and god forbid don't go to publix tonight.

When official Montreal readings are given, it's usually or even always Trudeau.
Trudeau is actually in a suburban area (Dorval) on the island, whereas Mirabel is off island and pretty much in the open fields.
I actually stayed at a hotel in Dorval while visiting Montreal this summer. It was +28 C on that day, with reasonable humidity levels. A very pleasant day to spend time downtown.
Record 1 day snowfall for 4 climate sites . Atlanta needs 4 inches to enter Top 10
That Feb 1973 storm in Macon and Columbus is interesting. D.C., Dulles, Philly, and Central Park all had all-time low snow totals that winter; BWI had 1.2" which ranks as 2nd-least.
1 to 3 inches of snow a pretty good bet for Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas tonight through tomorrow.
