I was just walking outside and I saw a gorgeous halo surrounding the full moon: Halo (optical phenomenon) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The temp is 19F (-7C)

I went inside to get a camera. Then I came back out and it was gone

I'm gonna keep trying.

Started snowing here. Just flurries now, but they're definitely coming down.

Cold morning.... But I don't get why ORD is always one of the coldest stations. It certainly well within the urban heat island.... Some kind of frost hollow I guess. Air temps is -4F/-20C. Kenosha is right now is the coldest at -8F/-22C

More bitter cold to follow season

Pretty damn cold Thursday morning

and not breaking the freezing mark for a while

Nice! Enjoy. Stay safe.

Current Radar & Temps and who's reporting snow. Lightly snowing in Philly and feels like 12°F with the wind.

Lowest temp of season here 15.2°F. Dewpoint of 1°F

I'll have to switch my radar color table because it's not picking up the Flurries or light stuff over PA

I've watched the NWS forecast for tomorrow night drop from the lower teens to 4F over the last few days. This is going to suck.

17.4F was my low this morning, slightly warmer than forecasted. First teens of the season.

When you have High ratio snows, you know even just a little bit makes a slippery surface
