I've watched the NWS forecast for tomorrow night drop from the lower teens to 4F over the last few days. This is going to suck.
17.4F was my low this morning, slightly warmer than forecasted. First teens of the season.
Incredible!
If KISP actually drops to 4F, it may result in some of the lowest wind chill values ever recorded there. I'm talking -20 to -15F. Probably the lowest since 2004.

Sweet deal. Can't wait.
I wonder if NWS lowered it that much because they realize snow will be on the ground now.
Current wind chills and radar. DC & suburbs getting some heavy snow right now. Nothing here yet. I just love when its snowing south of me and not over me. lol
It's bitterly cold here. Perhaps the coldest air of the winter.
It was -24.5C when I got up this morning and my thermometer registered -26C as the low. They had only forecast -21C as a low. These are around -15F for our American friends.
Not bad, west suburban Aurora bottomed out at -13F/-25C and outlying Rochelle -15F/-26C
