Very cold airmass moving over warm, above average Atlantic water temps. This was the same setup that brought snow showers to the space coast back in January of 2003.

Todays Min/Max temps in the Northeast. 1st time Boston goes below 0 since January 2011.

Was nice to be in low single digits here. Always worried we can't achieve that. But we warmed to low 20s today. Getting too warm for that now.

Evening Temps 8:45pm in the East. 10-20 below normal in the East except for central and south Florida. Seasonable there.



20s down to Gulf coast. Did anyone south of latitude 35N stay below freezing for the max today?

Nevermind... Looks like a few spots. Cant tell which station is which. I'm spoiled with my software. LOL. Looks like Tupelo Mississippi. Atlanta close.
