Getting into the upper 70s now with sun. The house is actually cooler than it was yesterday, though. Central AC is still off, but all the windows are shut and so the house has so far mostly retained the cooler air and kept the heat out. My room was still unbearably stuff yesterday, but today it's tolerable with just a ceiling fan. At least I know the insulation is good, lol.

We only need 4.0 mm to have the wettest July ever (we're currently at 182.4 mm), and it seems like tomorrow will bring more heavy rain, possibly bringing up the total up to 200 mm.

Denver is 60F at 2pm local time. Their average high is hotter than here. Ridiculous climate.

26C yet still nobody on the beach?

26C isn't exactly cold, it is still beach weather even if it is below average for Chicago

The beautiful italian autumn continues...

This is Livorno, Tuscany but could be any city of northern and central Italy during the last two weeks...
Rain, thunderstorms, wind gusts, hail, floodings, waterspouts, torrential rain all day and cold of course.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD7ChmXAOlQ

In some parts of Emilia-Romagna (Bologna, Modena) there were 16°C at noon today.
