I dunno. I always think they're a bit cartoony, generalistic and silly really, appealing to thick people. I prefer the more conservative traditional descriptive text forecasts.

Ok, can THIS set up stick around for 6 months

Wow, just noticed this near 80 degrees (27C) here next Thursday which would be nice, and in fact we might get up to 82F (28C)

but over 100 degrees (38C) in Nebraska

April 2014 temperature recap

The cold anomalies were not nearly as widespread during April compared to March, but April still unusually cold from Saskatchewan to northwestern Ontario.
Temperatures averaged close to normal in the West and East.

Basically has no clue what the weather will be like in much of the Central Midwest.... At least it's not forecast cool conditions as it was a week ago...

Interesting..

Coast here hasn't hit 71℉ yet.(BDR). The Latest we went on record since 1948 is 5/20/84 ..... but if we go past Monday it will be since 1988 we have gone this far without hitting 71. Wow!!!

And here's the forecast. I forgot what 70s feels like and pretty strange not getting into yet.

Here's our local forecast:

On Monday, I'm driving to a conference in western Colorado (about 500 miles) and here's the forecast there. The lows there are much higher than the highs here:

I'm a heat wimp and temps over 70F make me cranky. I'm glad I'll be driving back to snow on Thursday.

I love your forecast!

Made a Graphic that shows these coastal cities have not hit that temp on the left yet. Past the normal date but not the latest yet.

The last time Bridgeport went this long without hitting 71°F was in 2000.
If they go 3 more days without hitting it, the last time was back in 1988! So we typically hit 71 here by now!

Nantucket hasn't reached 65°F yet. Hard to get the mean or early/late date there since data is missing for many years

I forgot how ugly 90 F with 65 F dew points felt. We are approaching the season of nastiness .

Good luck this year Texas, Oklahoma, & Kansas. Hope the drought isn't to severe and I hope your pools are working.

Current temps. Chilly at Universal Studies in Orlando Florida (68F) but hot on the Vegas strip.(94F). The 102F is Needles Airport
