Here's a side by side GFS6z vs EURO00z max temps for Sunday April 27th afternoon max. Euro is showing more warmth overall for the East south of NYC. Haven't focused on the northern Plains or Midwest though. But Euro showing more 60s/70s in the pictures than GFS
Look at difference in Southern Indiana. GFS says upper 50s for High. Euro says low 80s.
Sometimes I do. That's a nice easy to read graph But not sure what it means. Havent read the blog. But the GFS wouldn't be that low for accuracy so not sure what its implying. Other sites are complicated but the scope is there showing the accuracy. . Time period matters to. For instance, which is better in the 2-4 day range. Euro might be better than GFS in that range. Poor NAVGEM never gets any love. Lol
Might be done in your backyard but Euro is showing 2 decent snow events for northern plains-upper Midwest areas. 25th & 28th. Some areas get rain that change to snow as temps crash. The 28th is an Upper Level low that gets stuck over the area.
EURO12z sounding for Sioux City, Iowa Monday afternoon April 28th. A Winter feel & look. Fun fun fun! Lets see if it or others show this going forward.
