Don't get me wrong, I've seen 12 inch snow packs here disappear in days but that took 50s and rain included.

So if we end up getting 12 inches here Monday on top of the frozen 5 inches snow pack we have now, with a forecast like GFS says, that means snow will probably be around until end of March. And if temps don't turn around, I don't think I ever saw a lasting snowpack on the ground in April.

The snow on the ground is from Feb 8th. Another rare thing here. 3+ straight weeks of not seeing the lawn. lol

Lol....NYC, Philly going to get buried. You guys in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic give up yet?

Would have been nice to see one last big storm for us. Too bad the track is in Central Illinois and not 150 miles further north.

-12 F / -24 C already and dropping fast. NWS called for -15F tonight, but unless some clouds move in they are going to miss this one by a mile.

A LE winter storm moved through again last night and my poor mailbox is done for this season. You can see it poking out across the road.

Front end loader had to come in and make some more room at the doctors office.
