Snow flurries off and on here for the past 6 hours. Very minimal accumulation. Still fun to watch.
Nooo. That GFS better be wrong.
Are You Kidding? What more kind of Winter could you possibly ask for? You guys in all likelihood have had at least 50 Inches of Snowfall, and being fed up with winter after seeing the Snowiest Winter on Record where I live, there is no doubt in my mind(could be wrong about this) But I am guessing you are one of those people who hate summer and possibly dislike spring as well. Or is it that you want it to snow in May or June?

Let me guess, you're one of those people who hates winter and possibly hates fall as well? Okay, I "get" people who don't like snow. (Actually, no I don't, but I understand why some people would see it as a disruption and a nuisance. I do not understand those who dislike it aesthetically.) What I don't get is how my view should come off as peculiar on a weather forum. There are enough people in daily life and in the media who will commiserate with you over a little snow, so how about a different view for once? Notwithstanding 50+ inches of snow, the only snow left here is in piles and shaded areas. Most of the ground is snowless. Not very exciting--in fact, quite boring. Here you can enjoy mostly snowless ground 90% of the year at least. I don't know where you live, but here you can have virtually endless streaks of 80 and 90 degree days in summer for a good 3+ months. No, it's summer I'm sick of, and am still sick of, though I don't "hate" it.
Models are showing the potential for a historic March Arctic outbreak for the Pacific Northwest in about a week. WRF-GFS just showed 32 inches of snow for the WA coast...not that that will happen but it's insane to see that even this far out.
And I thought the warmth and drought was the biggest American news story of the winter. LOL
Yup...
