Is there colder air filtering west? The skies are clearing here from the east. Temperatures in Edinburgh tumbled from 6c to 3c in one hour at 3pm and now its down to 2c and its only 4:40

Here its 4.5c so it is dropping here too.

Warm and slightly muggy today. Temp is 70F and the dew point is 62F. I like it. This (sub) tropical weather feels weird with the low sun angle and fall colours though.

Took the dog for a walk and was shocked to see a small lake (or a large pond) frozen over.

Gloom is reaching new heights here. It's dark when I get to work, then it slowly builds up to a murky twilight with barely above freezing drizzle, and getting home now it's dark again. There's no snow so there's much less light than in the winter. The darkness is great, I love it, but I'd rather have snow than rain. At least there's a rainstorm coming tonight to spice things up a little.

Current Satellite and Wind Chill Values. Snow is flying here and there over NY and VT today. Dusting to 1 inch mostly. Feels like winter out there. Does anyone see anything maybe I didnt here?

Yes, dunno the ground Is colder than expected. Apparently the snow that fell yesterday in bath stuck straight away and the temps weren't even below 0c. Temperatures were in double figures there days previous too.
