I'm not one to say it's cold but it is cold today.. 11.5C at 12:50pm (very little variation) with a biting breeze.. heating isn't on yet though. Autumnal feel indeed. I see low dew points are advancing over Scotland right now..

An air frost has been recorded in every month in the UK.. so sometime in July I guess.

Oh ok. Yes it has.

Usually the first frost for most places is in October/late september so this would be really early.

In saying that the dew points are dropping here again. Down to 37 now. Its going to be really close whatever the outcome is.

A lot of leaves blown onto the streets today - green ones, but with mid-afternoon temperatures of 60F, overcast skies and wind it feels and looks very much like October.

We rarely ever get highs in the 50s in September. Maybe in early October though.
