Buxton is high in elevation so I guess no inversion takes place there - hence temperatures don't fall very low.

Thats good if you want sunshine but awful for thunderstorms.Plus if you want a good long holiday with lots to do you goto florida. There isn't much to do in spain besides sit at the beach.

If you're into history and culture than Florida is about as interesting as watching paint dry, but great for everything else!

Nothing to do but sit at the beach would be Florida not Spain.
