And so the Euro gives in.....for now.

New Updated Euro goes towards GFS with the Trough and Cold in the East. Also note its showing a storm to the North and a Storm off the coast.

So it might be possible something is brewing...AGAIN.. LOL

It always amuses me when Englanders think it's so cold and such an extraordinary event when the high fails to reach freezing . It also shows to me just how pathetic English Winters usually are. No offense is intended, and I hardly begrudge your recent improvement in weather. According to what I've seen on Weather.com, you have a few chances for decent snow over the next 10 days with temperatures remaining cold enough for snow, albeit marginally. You also have several other potential subfreezing days.

I'm not happy about having a cold February, not because of the cold, but because with the increasingly negative North Atlantic oscillation our summer is probably screwed and the last years we had very cold Febs like 1986 and 1991 we had absolutely spactacular summers. I can't take yet another summer of cold and cloud again.

Yesterday night was in the low 40s and very pleasant to walk around. This morning was 28°F and not so pleasant. I've learned to tolerate these temperatures, but they're still annoying.

I'm getting bored with winter. Hopefully, only a few more weeks.

We've had 6 summers on the trot of fairly cool, cloudy weather, I think it'll be pushing it to have a 7th.. especially since it's asking too much to have 4 cold winters on the trot

LOL

Well... I learned not to believe GFS 7 days out but its so hard to ignore the consistancy of it showing a storm around the 11th.

Its going to be another boring 5 days but the fun "should" start as we track a low from the Gulf come up the coast next week.

FYI... Models trended north for this storm sliding south of us Sunday where now Baltimore and southern PA and NJ will see some light snow.
