Looks like CT & VT missed out on this coastal storm this time.. We'll have more chances, dont worry.

Up to a foot has fallen in NH and Maine today. Pure whiteout conditions. Snowing hard all day.

Radar was full of snow all day and hasnt stopped. Check out some snow totals as of 1:27pm and still snowing

Would think there's more snow talk in here.. What are the local mets saying?

Big storm moving into Ohio Valley, new storm forming near Mid Atlantic coast, High pressure feeding cold air in, so Vermont should stay all snow even though warm air is moving up into MA.

Let us know what you have and get. Good luck and be safe

? lol Wow. From where? Please dont say weatherunderground. Those stations are not quality controlled, calibrated, and just in bad spots from regular home owners which some are just from kids experiement.

Here are the stations around there. Mostly in the 30s with 2 or 3 low 40s in VT. Maybe the 12pm update will show more 40s.

NWS Mesonet Observations

Edit.. I just saw a 44 in there. Hmm. 48 seems a bit high though

The Josh fox weather blog is talking about 15-30" by the end of the week for the Sugarbush/Mad river glen area then Sugarbush is saying 6-12" for tomorrow. 30" would be nice Stuck in front of the computer for a few days myself.

All I have is a coastal flood warning. Be safe guys and enjoy.

Current Watches and Warnings Map. .

Winter Storm Warning
Essex
Orange
Rutland
Windsor

Winter Storm Watch
Bennington
Windham

Winter Weather Advisory
Caledonia
Lamoille
Orleans
Washington

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW...WHICH MAY BRIEFLY MIX WITH RAIN OR
SLEET AT TIMES TOWARDS SOUTHEAST NEW HAMPSHIRE.

* TIMING...WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 8 TO 12 INCHES.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY...WET SNOW MAY MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT ON
UNTREATED ROADWAYS. HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ON TREES MAY
BRING DOWN WEAK LIMBS AND LEAD TO SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES.

* WINDS...EAST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

Anyone know why there is an area of VT without any watches? Is that an area where it stays warm more often?

Nevermind, I see why there's no watches in Western VT... not enough snow to match the criteria

The Champlain Valley is the warmest part of Vermont so when these "warmer" weather winter storms roll through its usually rain/reduced snow amounts for the CV.
