I was laughing hysterically Tuesday at Brian Krause singing Tiny Tim Tiptoe Through the Tulips LOL

I LOVE THE AUDITIONS!

I have to say this season's Idol is loosing steam. I am a supporter and will watch, but for some reason it's not the same. Not just because Paula is not there....they are doing these auditions shows slightly different. There also showing more outrageous ones then normal. I mean how do these people get past the several auditions before going in front of the celebrity judges? I mean I know this generation is all about reality TV, but for goodness sakes get some real talent in there. Plus, I know, I know makes good TV...and I am watching it...just seems a little more twisted this year.
Makes me wonder what else they are going to twist up....keeps the American public watching.

I agree. That Tiny Tim audition made me laugh. I can tell Simon has NO patience for off-the-wall auditions, yet...it happens. He should be used to it by now.

I would have liked to have heard the girl who pretended to faint to sing for real. She may have had a voice hidden in there.

I've got a pretty good track record of "calling" the winner during these early auditions, if they're actually shown during this portion.

So what are your predictions for this season?

That was great! Watching the original never gets old either.

They were singing this at work last week. I think this guy should get some money for writing a unique song people like to goof with.

It looks like he is trying.

I think he should forget copyrights and such and book appearances on Oprah and Letterman and various other talk shows. That way he could get some money out of this by performing on TV.

I've only seen one show this season. For some reason, I just don't have interest anymore.

It has nothing to do with Paula being gone since I was never a fan.

Maybe I'll enjoy it when they get to LA. I've never been a fan of the audition phase.
