Of course that raises the question of why his heat vision doesn't melt the mirror.

So does Supergirl do the same thing with her legs? Where is the video for that?

There's an idea. They should do a scene of that in one of the Supergirl episodes.

Calista Flockhart officially returning but in a reduced role.

Quote:
Keeping Flockhart onboard with the new filming location had been problematic as she was not willing to uproot her family to move to Vancouver. She was not obligated to continue (Alyssa Milano similarly left ABC’s Mistresses when its production moved from Los Angeles to Canada). In the end, a compromise was reached, and the studio will fly Flockhart to Vancouver every few weeks or so. I hear Flockhart would do as many scenes as she could by commuting back and forth, likely banking material for multiple episodes in one trip north. I hear she would be paid per her original series-regular contract.

I have some old silver-age comics and I recall one story where he had long hair, beard and nails from Red K exposure, I think. He had Krypto and Supergirl use their heat vision to cut it all down to normal lengths. But otherwise, a side-effect of a yellow sun is that his hair and nails don't grow. Something like that. It has probably changed since I was reading comics though (silver/bronze).

Good info on Calista and the Mistress actress...I had no idea of this Vancouver issue,
thank you.

Calista's character is awful...but it is like looking at a Fashion magazine every week...
how can she be so gorgeous?
I'm dressing like her at my HS Class Reunion next month! Shhh....

I love this show.

I'm too lazy and too many beers in to go back and look to see if it has been posted but Lynda Carter has been cast as the president.

I just started watching this show from the beginning on Netflix... and I LOVE IT!

Now, I saw a few episodes last Spring near the end of the season on CBS and it wasn't bad, but now, seeing and understanding the foundation of the show, I have now come to really love this show.

Also, their sense of humor rocks! Like in the one scene where Kara is laughing really hard at James Olsen's jokes in a restaurant and Kara's sister tells her that she like James. And then in another scene, Hank Henshaw is giving a brief on an alien enemy and Supergirl asks, "Who names all these people?" and to her surprise and embarrassment, Hank says, James Olsen.

Also, Cat Grant just floors me like when she politely asks James to move someone in the office because he distracts her, and then the person turns out to be this guy that has really bright red hair.

Also, I just thought of this, but I was wondering if that scene was a reference to the original Jimmy Olsen in the comic books. I'll have to watch it again.
