I wonder how anyone could bash on Hollie. She did great Wed's night, the best she has ever done for the past three weeks. Hollie does not deserve people being mean to her, as she is the best since Haley Reinhart. Actually, Skylar and Hollie ties for being the best since Haley Reinhart. Those who think Hollie is horrible is obviously tone deaf from listening to garbage.
Now, I want Joshua and P2 gone immediately. I can't stand Josh's voice, as he needs to spray WD-40 down his throat. P2 gives the same boring performances, as if it seems that he cuts and pastes his performances every week.
In no order, I want Colton and Elise to go bye-bye. Colton is not that vocally strong, and Elise does nothing for me. Maybe Jessica will probably get bumped off, as she sings nothing but ballads every week. I am getting sick of them.
Last ones standing are my wife, Skylar and gobucks86's wife Hollie in the finals.
Hollie and Jess have big voices, it is obvious that they are trying to narrrow it down to one big voice and for what-ever reason Hollie is the one they are trying to edge out. The audience doesn't like that and feels like it is being manipulated hence the wackadoodle results Thursday. Skylar has a big voice too but because its country she isn't being edged out just yet.
Elise has a lot of character in her voice. She uses her voice like an instrument - which may be too sophisticated for the average listener. She reminds me a little of Haley last year.
P2 makes me smile, sorry I know he makes faces but I really love his voice. And yeah he stays within his own style, but that is the part that lets me know that he knows who he is. When the judges start complaining that the song isn't the right choice its usually because the singer tried to fit their voice into a place it shouldn't go.
I think Joshua has a great voice but I'm not sure that he can cross over to popular music and after all that is the goal - I think you may find him in the theater he is a powerhouse who can sell a song- Broadway maybe?

Agree with most of what you said. There are valid reasons to favor Jessica over Holly, IMO, though neither of them have sparkling personalities.
P2 has great eyes and a nice smile, but I'm over him already. I feel that Colton has more variety and a better overall look.
Agree with you completely about Elise's voice. Hers is not a voice or style for the masses, but she IS good. Not crazy about her look, though.
I love Joshua, but I think you may be right about him not being able to make the transition. I definitely could see him on Broadway. Maybe him and Fantasia together!
As of today, I'm thinking I like Skylar and Colton the most.
People use that? I guess those who dont have a cell phone or still use dialup , but I think this site is very poor measure on how people are voting.
The 21st century way is to judge how may Twitter followers and Facebook Likes.
Better yet who has the most I tune sells per week. I wonder if there is a way to see who does.

I only watch the show for the entertainment factor. I love to watch the progression of the talent as the season moves forward. But the judges this year have really put me off for some reason. The contestants are all good and working hard IMO.

Thanks for sharing, that was kinda funny to read. He was kinda mean to P2 but was actually true in in his assessment.
I almost had his pick right. I forgot about the save needed to be used but I agree with it being being Skylar & Colton in final two. I left out Joshua but now see his pick for Joshua 3rd.
He thinks Jessica will be fourth but Thursday night charade by the judges may back fire on them (I hope, because I would laugh to make them look like idiots.)
Did you guys catch this Thursday night during the group sing. I thought it was adorable. He did say he doesnt like reach out touching hands (and it is majority females in first row.) He reminds me of my partner in some ways both have to deal with kidney stones, and both mostly wear gray.

I was looking for the last P2 song he performed on AI on iTunes and found the following number of AI downloads available for the remaining performers.
I'm sure AI has some control over or has a formula of what is released by each performer, supply and demand perhaps... I don't know I just found it interesting how unballanced it was.
