I think dallasboi is talking about the Harwood District.
No I was talking about the other 45 story tower planned directly across 75 from Cityplace Tower. It will be in the exact spot where they are currently building a temporary restaurant directly south of MATA turntable at uptown station.

Actually, yes, I've been to both Houston and Dallas numerous times. I'm actually a Texas native. I live in neither Houston or Dallas, and I have no reason to hate Houston or Dallas. But you said this....

Houston, IMHO, is right up there with LA and New York City in terms of culture, world-class restaurants and entertainment.

NYC and LA are not only the two cultural centers of these United States, but two of the bigger cultural meccas of the world. I'd love for a Texas city to become a U.S. cultural heavyweight. It might as well be Houston, but we're not close to being there yet.

I get that Houston lovers (as well as Dallas lovers) like to exaggerate and inflate self worth, but Houston has many U.S. cities to surpass culturally before they are even in throwing distance of NYC and LA. San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, Philly, Boston and others have more history and culture than Houston or Dallas. In Texas alone, San Antonio, Austin, and Ft. Worth all pull more weight pound for pound culturally than the two heavyweights of Texas. I'm sorry, but the next time I hear somebody travelling to Houston for reasons other than business or family will be the first.

Wow that 4th pic showing tmc is impressive.

That is a huge skyline.

The 6th pic showing uptown showcases the might of uptown too.

Oh ok, I saw that on HAIF. Didn't know how recent your pictures were and was trying to picture where it would be from that angle. It should make a decent impact on the skyline from that view.
