I never said that the Fair is better.

Houston and Dallas should just be happy they have numerous skyscraper projects taking place. I come from a city that is anti-skyscraper it seems. Fort Worth having a skyscraper boom is wishful thinking at this point.

Uptown is dense enough now with midrises. Dallas should build a building in Uptown to rival the BOA.

Fort Worth is a rapidly growing city of almost 800,000 as of the last census, so I would think that eventually, the city would want to upgrade its skyline to match that of Dallas. However, it is hard to predict what the city leaders will do in the end.

I like Fort Worth, and would like to see it eventually get an impressive skyline.

I know, I really want a tower over 600 ft. There's land that can have a 560 ft tower built on it but the Richards Group is moving their HQ from North Dallas to Uptown on that land. They are gonna build a 15 story HQ right next to that new condo tower that's going up right across the street from the vibrant West Village development.

Here's the new condo tower under construction (the bottom floors will have retail)

You are the one with green eyes at our rodeo.

Your downplaying it is definitely sour grapes. You wish you guys had similar acts at the fair. Since you don't you ask who needs them. Sour grapes
I agree. Houston is on a completely different level than Dallas. Now don't get me wrong, D-town is great in its own right, but not on the same level as Houston.

Houston, IMHO, is right up there with LA and New York City in terms of culture, world-class restaurants and entertainment.
