You can disagree all you want but it's my opinion.

You mean besides being an office tower for...offices?

But touche. I'm not extremely fond of Williams, myself. I love the location and prominence over Uptown, but the design leaves a lot to be desired. It still serves more of a purpose than a bridge in a prairie.

So what you're saying is cars should be able to drive right through the river and shouldn't need a bridge to go over it?

That's basically what I was refering to when Dallaz asked "what purpose does it serve?"....

And I like the neo-art deco style on Williams. It's an 80's building, could have been much worse. At least it's not just one big concrete box sticking up.

OMG, I HATE THIS THING!!!

People said the exact same thing about the new Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel. The hotel boosted profits to a lot of the major hotels in Dallas.

Bridge? Yes. Multimillion dollar addition? No.

That building in FW has to be one of my top least favorite buildings. Then they line the buildings with those christmas lights.

The architecture in Houston is just way too dated, for my liking.

Williams Tower's prominence is similar to the BOA building in Atlanta. I wish the design was more like that.

It's not the first bridge in the country where extra money was spent to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Would the Golden Gate Bridge look the same if they were going solely for function?
