The city main concern Northeast loop 820 and the expansion of I 35W. Not to worry because the new urban village they are building off 287 is going to create a bigger traffic headache. 20, 287, and 820 all collide in this area. Yet the city at this point doesn't seem to care about upgrading the major interchange in southeastern Tarrant County.

This thread reminds me of a scene from "Lost" where Jack and Sawyer are arguing over a poker game; something about who's better and Kate says to them, "Would you like me to get a ruler?"

That's all.

No need to go downtown.

There is also one of the 20's that go from the Med center to the OST area.
That trip planner on RideMetro.org kept pointing me downtown for some reason if I wanted to go the MFAH after my 4:00 P.M. Thursday class.

Yeah, that trip planner gets confusing, it initially gives you one trip plan, but if you click on other routes, or something like that, it gives you five potential options, and you can pick the one best suited for you: least or no transfers, time, distance, how much walking you'll actually have to do between your destination and the actual METRO stop, etc.

is the university line under construction for real, or is it still facing opposition and under speculation? I've really hoped that east/west line would get off the ground but i remember tons of opposition from wealthier people in west U, and thruought the river oaks business region.

Its fine other than being hot as hell for four months lol. I just cant wait till this light rail is finished, and I think its perfect for us, after a recent visit to the norhteast im actually happy for a laid back 1.25$ honor code rail line without the clutter and gates, ect ect I experienced up there. Much more laid back. Plus with subways you cant really see the city as you ride which I actually like, kinda a great way to discover new things is always a ride through the city. You don't get that going through holes and tunnels in the ground. An el like chicago would be my favorite tho.

I use google maps instead.

If you do that and zoom in to Scott and Holman for example you will see that the 68 bus is one of the choices.

You look up where the 68 goes on metro and bam straight to the med center where you can catch the rail to the museums.

You can also take the 5 or the 52 (I think even the 80) to transfer near the 60 which goes to Wheeler Station where you can catch the rail to the Museums.

Anyway. the metro site sucks. Use Googlemaps instead

Nope, still having issues with that. The only lines being worked on are the East, Southeast and North lines.

Not Dallaz, but allow me....
