That's what I mean by "in your head". In Seattle you are used to it being cold and unfazed by it. It's normal to layer up every time you leave the house. In Austin half the time you are wearing short sleeves with a light jacket and when a cold day happens it's more jarring.
Incorrect, lows happen around dawn. Which, in the winter, is after many working folks are up and about.

You and me both. Next up - is Thanksgiving going to be sweater weather or T shirt weather? LOL

I often have to look at the forecast for Halloween to be sure my costume isn't too hot.

The weather is so unpredictable. I remember going to visit relatives in Buffalo NY in 2015 and it was in the 60s the whole time I was there. On the day that I left it started snowing, lol. Got back to Texas there was snow from the previous day but the day I came back it was in the 70's, lol. If Texas weather were a person it'd be bipolar.

Currently a lot of the "nicer" parts of California are hotter than Texas. How do you like that?

Got a 110 coming up in a week. Wondering what the "feels like" temperature will be?
