Rant: Had the murphy touch today. The murphy touch is a lot like murphy's law. Everything I touched didn't work right.
Rant: 6 days in the hospital for food poisoning
Rant: 2 days of that were in Intensive Care Unit drifting in and out of a coma
Rant: ICU has two, evil, nasty, vindictive, manipulative, Nurses
Rave: Stableized after 2 days so they could transport me a decent hospital
Rave: VA has a new cook. I know, I put on weight while in the hospital in only 4 short days
Rave: Discharged yesterday
Rant: One of these days I'm going to have to tell my daughter why I was in the hospital after her Bar-B-Q.
Rave: Severe thunderstorm we had a few nights ago was one of the most amazing things I've seen in a long time. There was so much lightning that the sky was continuously lit. There was always at least one flash at any given time and usually several in the sky at once.
Rant: Said thunderstorm snapped one of my young cherry trees in half. Poor little guy was just working on making its very first cherries, too.
Rant: Money. Please, please, please let me win the lottery this week. A big jackpot would be ideal, but a few thousand bucks would be helpful.
Rant: Soup didn't turn out so well this time. I'm stuck with it for the next several weeks, as there are a couple dozen bowls of it in the freezer. It tastes watery and bland, like I made it in some desperately poor communist-era country with only beans, twigs, water and dirt for seasoning. Therefore I'm calling it Communist Soup.
Rant: last day of "walleye widow"
