Rant: Life has been pretty miserable lately.

Rave: Can't think of a single thing.

I will eat my words. I have thought of something.

Rant: My co-worker's house burnt down.

Rave: She's OK, the pets are OK, she has insurance... and my house is still standing.

rave: Someone once told me to smile, things could be worse.

Rant: I smiled and sure enough, things got worse.

Rave: Hope your fortunes turn around for the better soon.

Rave: Congrats, Great-grandfather!

Rant: Paper wasps in the basement walls. At least that's what I suspect. They keep popping out through heating vents and light fixtures. I am terrified of them.

Rave: Wasp spray.

Rant: Almost out of wasp spray.

Rave: Discovered that the hose attachment on the Dyson works very well for sucking up wasps, and that the cyclonic action in the machine does a pretty good job of killing them once they're sucked in. Just let it run for a few seconds.

I have found that Nature's Miracle will kill wasps. Desperate times...with a bird in the house, wasp spray is not an option.

Good idea to use the Dyson, though!

Rant: Weatherguesser's promised rain turning to snow during the night.

Rant: Didn't get either.

Rant: Gotta go to the bad place called Town, today.

Rave: Going to get a new microwave oven! I'm going to make them test em. I want another microwave that when you set your coffee cup in there, no matter how you set the time, it will stop with the handle where you can't reach it. I certainly don't want to miss out on all those second degree burns. Since my microwave quit, my fingerprints have almost come back. Can't have that.

Rave: Going to get a microwave that browns and cooks too. That way I can spend an hour programming it just right so that it will make my 5 minute Grits to perfection!
