My news feed is overflowing with endless transfer speculation, rumors, and what seems like fake news. Is this normal for June and July when there is no real EPL news?

Yes. With the window opening officially, its all we will hear until the pre-season matches. I started a threat in the forum if anyone is interested in talking about the news and rumors. Any club, any league, its all good there.

Any idea when the 2022-23 schedule gets released?? I want to say last year it got released around June 17th, plus or minus a few days, but I thought somewhere in that general vicinity. With this coming season starting earlier then normal, I would have thought the schedule would be out earlier then normal too, but maybe it was released later then I thought??

The 38 team weekly matchups are leaked, but not the specific days/times. But who knows if they are accurate. I saw Spurs. I will wait for the official drop to get into it.

Looks like Bissouma to Spurs is a done deal. Great signing.

I’m looking at the fixtures. Do they later shift days and times around to accommodate television? There are lots of weeks where all 10 matches are at the same time.

The break for the World Cup is enormous. After November 12, nothing until Boxing Day.

First, yes, they change days or times based on the best matchups for TV. A game may be listed on a Saturday and get moved to Sunday. They also move games to show more on TV.

Second, I know right! Its crazy. There is a 6 week hole in the schedule. With the domestic cups, european football, the world cup, and the premier league, it is going to be a packed season. Hoping not too much weather to suspend games as it will be a tight schedule until the end of the season. Plus, remember its 5 subs going forward. So teams have to be deep. This transfer window is already exciting. More to come!!
