It has more than two.

Salford City, Stockport County, F.C. United, Bury and more, all in the greater Manchester area.

Manchester United were historically the rail builders club, Manchester City were a team founded from a church team.

You think 2 teams in one city is a lot - London has SEVENTEEN!

Imagine if the NY Giants and the NY Jets had fifteen other clubs in the city to contend with! :-D

Two 'closes' London clubs in the pro leagues are Fulham and Chelsea they are 1.4 miles apart, closest two teams in the Premier League are Liverpool and Everton they are half a mile apart, Nottingham Forest and Notts County are the two closest pro teams in England they are opposite each other on opposing banks of the Trent River, the two closest pro teams in the UK are in Scotland Dundee United FC and Dundee FC.......they are literally next door to each other!

Tannadice is an absolute treat if you ever get the chance and as you can see, you can walk to Dundee's ground within two minutes.

What are some underrated rivalries? I think when Cardiff and Bristol City go head-to-head it goes under the radar a bit, one of the few international rivalries in a domestic league.
