We are getting a fairly decent light rain here at 1604 and Potranco at the moment. Guess the weather man got it wrong again. Would be nice to see this go on for the whole day, but won't get my hopes up.

What about Westcreek? More towards the back in the Military/Westcreek Oaks intersection area? I hope it's raining or rained at least a little there.
Freaking beautiful here 1200 miles to the NE.. great day to run, be outside, and just be alive for a change.

It's a great time to get out of Texas. I was in Chicago a few weeks ago (before that bad heat wave) and it was glorious---80 degrees and sunny.

It's actually one degree warmer here than there right now, but this is the high for the day today here. I'm sure SA still has another 20 or so degrees to go.. quite a bit more humid here too, though, so the 80s feel much more comfortable than they do in SA with all that dry wind.

Very nice and cool this morning with light rain. One more month to go and it should start stabilizing down here. Looking forward to the fall.

Crazy sudden downpour in Tobin Hill. Swirly, almost sideways rain followed by blue sky minutes later.

We got a little more this evening on the NW side. Ground just soaked it up... just put my Jack-be-Little pumpkins in last week and the soil in that section of the garden is dried up already lol. They use a lot of water!

While we didn't get a lot of rain, from the look of the ground it would seem that the bulk of what we got fell last night sometime. I have lived in San Antonio for nearly 16 years. It seems that we usually get our biggest rain at night. Has anyone else noticed that, or is it just my imagination?
