Still not even breaking a sweat out there. Where's the humidity, though? and why won't the wind go away already? It's like we're in west Texas or something.

I enjoy the wind because it keeps it from feeling as hot as it really is. But it's not so much the heat as it is the repetition. Nothing but sun for seemingly months now.

A silver lining is that while hand-watering last night I didn't encounter many bugs...so maybe we've turned a corner there. Or maybe it was just too hot for them.

I just saw that there could be rain and a moderating of temps around the middle of next week, but it would be temporary...

I vote for it starting Wednesday because I don't get my other car back until Tuesday.. I'm even willing to sacrifice its cleanliness for some rain, but not willing to sacrifice my body and I'm stuck with only the bike until the body work is all done.
