Had one of my best running days in a long time today. Not nearly as much wind, plenty of humidity, some nice (sorta) heat, and sun. So far it's been a pretty great day

figures the one thunderstorm that rolls in would occur while i was sleeping, when i can't enjoy it. i did go to bed with a smile yearing the rain and thunder. felt weird going to sleep while it was still dark outside. going for a nice long walk tonight while i can.

I'm fine with the rain as long as it's some nice showers for a few days or maybe even a week because we need it. But I certainly don't want one giant dumping and then no more rain for a month or two.

feels great

except for the wind and how cold it is...

I think Nick's on crack, though. There is no way it was this windy before. It's like almost every day has 15-20 MPH winds. I would've actually enjoyed this kind of weather in my past life, so I know I would remember it.

I caught some drizzle on the drive from from Houston to SA today around 4:45 in Lulling. It was just enough to turn on the wipers and to get my white car even dirtier than it already is.
