Don't understand the bad leg statement...but ALL parakeets that we have owned have been mentally challenged! Fun, but different!

Every night, at various times, she will just fall. Off the perch, the rod, the swing, anything. She always yelps and then grumbles while she crawls back up. Sometimes she gets crazy and flaps like a mad(bird) when she falls. Once she fell, and I went to check on her because she didn't make any noise from crawling back up, and she was standing on the bottom of the cage with her head whirling around like they do in the cartoons....

Two bassets--Roscoe and Tripper--and Roscoe has made his pictorial debut on here before. Two cats--one a calico named, what else? Callie. The other a big beautiful orange boy we just got, and in his former life, he was called Mr. Pumpkinhead, but we changed it to Nacho for about 45 minutes after we got him, then we decided on Hobbes. I wanted Bailey, but was vetoed!

I use this username on a lot of sites. I decided on it years ago when at the time we had 1 dog, 3 cats, 1 fish, 3 rats, 1 guinea pig, and 1 hamster, along with 2 kids and a husband. Yes my house is a zoo sometimes. Now we just have 1 dog, 2 cats, numerous fish--oh yeah, and I still have the kids and husband too.

HA! That explains it... there's no way I could have drank all of that ...

We used to have a little mutt, his name was Chewy when we adopted him, and then we changed it to Taco because of his colors. For awhile there we would call out "Chewy" and then correct ourselves and call out "Taco"....then for a bit we'd just call him chewy taco!!!
