Default What's your line?

Well, what do you do to make bank? I know we know lots of regulars' occupations, like the obvious--banker is a banker, firstclassflyer is a traveling consultant, etc. But what do most of us regular guys and gals do?

I am in the college textbook business. You students stop hatin'! I don't set the prices....

ooops, I meant to start a new thread! Oh well......

I go by Laurie but it is actually Laura. No one has ever called me Laura, not even my mom, and she was the one who named me.

I'm a legal assistant.

With reference to college textbooks, my books cost more than the damned tuition! Why are the books so expensive?

That, my darling, is the million dollar question. I don't have an answer for you.

You're lucky your tuition is so cheap! It's going up at UTSA this year.

My name is Erin and I'm a teacher. My kiddos both were competitive irish dancers until an injury moved them (and their parents) on-to SA and new opportunities. It hurts my heart a little sometimes when I see my screen name.
