Yeah that place was awesome, I remember seeing a few people work there but it looked like its a small world ride at the Disney parks.

Since North Star Mall has come up...does anyone know what happened to the time capsule there? Was it ever opened or is it still waiting to be and when?

The time capsule is still there, and waiting to be opened, on the 50th anniversary of the mall I think, it was buried in 1985 I believe.

The time capsule buried in 1960 was opened in 1985, the one buried in 1985 is scheduled to be opened in 2010.

Does anyone remember Houlihan's restaurant and bar in North Star Mall? It was where The Cheesecake Factory is located now. I got a lot of cool things from there when they closed. I think it was 95' or early 96'.

I remember Houlihan's in North Star Mall. They had the best bacon cheese burgers! I was so sad when they closed. I recently went to the Houlihan's on 1604 thinking it would be the same, but it wasn't. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and it tasted nothing like what I remember. I miss the old Houlihan's!

Is the Magic Time Machine still open? I haven't eaten there since at least 1986 for my brother's birthday.

Was wondering if there was a thread specifically to post old pics of San Antonio. Have some to post and would also love to see others.
