Its funny the 11803 Blanco location is now a scholtzky's and yes it does look like a bank back in the day.

Question for anyone who can answer it, at the corner of Blanco and West Ave in front of Marshall's there is a flower shop. Anyone know what it was many years ago? Been very curious.

yeah, i used to take my car that i had in high school there to get oil changes and what not until i started doing them myself...i was kinda bummed when they closed cuz i liked chattin' with the folks there. it seemed like kind of a weird place for a flower shop, but i guess that's business...

i also miss the burger king that was behind it, facing west avenue. many a memory there from middle school/high school...

i'm still waiting to see the announcement in the paper that this is another mall that went belly up...that place is just sad...i went to the Norris Conference Center back in May for training, and during lunch i walked around the mall. it was a SAD trip around a once nice mall...i miss especially the places mentioned by Will, but i also miss the arcade near what used to be Monk'y Wards...rest in peace old friend, rest in peace.

Rex I agree with you about Crossroads it's in a sad state, I remember the arcade next to Wards. Do you remember when it was by the food court in the lower level? Good times back in the early 80's.

Wow I remember hanging out at Sombrero Rosa many times, I also remember the Arby's on Blanco where KFC/Taco Bell are now. If I recall the Las Palapas used to be a Pollo Loco.
