I don't mind a few bucks (say up to $275). They have to keep in mind financial times are tough right now and might need to cut back on some things. My work has been cutting back on everything from raises to people due to poor automobile sales.

My in-laws pay $150 a quarter for their dues, and they still have to pay to use the pool. I think we have it pretty good here! When we visit the 'rents I always feel bad for using up their pool cards!

I wish they would make the budget available in a softcopy version to the residents. As the area gets built out it should mean more revenue for the HOA.

The residents should get the opportunity to comment and vote on the increase. If we don't I'll certainly be voting to have the board removed.

Any power outages in Westcreek from the storm? I ask this because we have some medication that needs to stay refrigerated...and no one is home. If power was out long enough(and the meds were allowed back to room temps) we would have to throw those meds out. Any help?

We had several large ominous clouds the past few days, but no rain until this morning!

Do you think it has anything to do with the fence getting to the point it is apparent it will need replacing along Military Drive??? I have mixed emotions...may be better to go with something that last longer and requires less maintenance than just wood.
