There are also many of us who have lived here for a pretty long time that have been dealing with the past BOD and HOA's Staff. Some of our deeds, suggestions, and comments, have been accomplished although they are not talked about.

Many of us do not attend the special meetings since we are not made aware of them. It may be a handful who are there and a handful who have retained an Attorney, talked to our State Reps. etc.

Again I cannot stress the things that go on without anyone knowing. I have never appraoched the BOD /HOA Staff for my own good but for the Good of the Community.

We all can work together but the approach we take can either make us or break us. I have been aroud long enough and dealt in political matters that I know it can backfire. No one wants that.

We cannot never forget our actions are for everyone's good.

Now I must depart for work and unlike some of the HOA Staff earn the money that you all have paid for and conduct the work which you expect.

AWAY WELLGUY.............................

Wellguy - Did you ever see the piles of limbs and boards under the bridge by the old pool? I don't know if the HOA has an easement in that particular spot or if that would be the county. Either way, its in the drainage area under that bridge. Meant to take my camera by there earlier and post a pic but forgot to put the camera in the car.

Hey I have no life so I was reading the CC&R and look at this. Look at (d)

5.02 - Purpose of Assessments - The assessments levied by the Association shall be used exclusively for
the purpose of promoting the recreation, health, safety and welfare of the residents and tenants in the
Property and in particular for (a) the improvement and maintenance of the Common Area; (b) for
services and facilities devoted to this purpose and related to the use and enjoyment of the Common Area
]including, but not limited to, street sweeping, garbage collection, street lighting, police service, fire
protection, (c) administering the Association, (d) maintenance of privacy fences abutting a Major Street
and (e) the enforcement of the Restrictions.

Good Evening- I have not observed the mess. By looking on the Bexar Appraisal Site it appears that most of that property is owned by the HOA. As you know they will have to dispose of it properly. It is against the law /rules /regulations of the Bexar County Stormwater Ordinance, TCEQ, and the San Antonio River Authority to dump trash, limsb, boards, etc. into a waterway whether it is dry or not. The area could fall upon BC.

How did it get there?. Does it appear the VOWC Maintenace Staff dumped it?

If I am out in this area this week during work I will find out exactly where it is at and contact the responsible Authority.

If you were on the BOD you would deny it all and whip out your Special VOWC Dictionary for correct interpetation and then deny everything that is stated.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Now it needs to be brought to their attention.

While on the Bexar Appraisal Site I found out that we (HOA) owns 23 acres around the new pool and Community Center. It's no big deal -I just never knew. Almost all of it is out of the Flood Plain.

That has been brought up by residents, at a board meeting but they have chosen to ignore it. Legal help seems to be the only way!
