haha...I think you've forgotten that you are in Florida and I am in Rochester. While I love this Christmasy weather we're having; its just not grilling weather. I think I can hold off till May.

Are you kidding me I'minformed??? You know us die hard WNYers LOVE to grill in the winter.....!!

Just look at us at any Dec/Jan Bills Tailgate Party...(ok...so it has been a while since there has been a January tailgate party).....it is so much fun to grill in the freezing cold.....

We seriously do grill year round at our house....heck...that's the only way I get my husband to cook for me

..good point. I know that everybody in my family loves the zweigle dogs with the thick skins that pop when you bite into them, but we've never been a white hot eat'n family. BUT we are all now DIE HARD Rochesterians for life. 3 of the eight of us moved away...and I was the last to return.

They all so are good steamed in beer ( cheap) with Sauerkraut. Put the Sauerkraut in a steamer 1-2 cans of Silver Floss juice and all.... and then lay you zweigle dogs on top and then poor some cheap!! beer couple cans on top with some water...... steam and serve with some good brown spicy mustard and a cold Jenny......

Not a fan of sauerkraut and that just can't be changed....but I do love the zwiegle's dogs steamed in beer...i've had them like that a few times.

Zweigle's dogs..... tried too get my local store too carry them here,"BUT" then need a huge customer base. So I contacted Zweigle's they said minimum order of 100# pounds bulk......... "O" well next time I'm up their I'll buy a couple of packs.....Their was back in 86 several stands around Rochester that just served white & red hots and fries..... are they still their?
Memory serves me their was one in Penfield....
