Those of us that enter the sacred circle as guest will never be asked to accept that which we do not agree with. The Circle has many purposes, for here the pupose is one of peace and no words of anger to be used. Hands are to only be extended in Friendship. All weapons, angry words and desires to change others are to be left outside the circle.
There is no rules as to what must be discussed, the rule is all things said are to be done out of peace and free from anger.
We appreciate each other and have no need to make another person be like our self. the differences we all have are appreciated and not seen as a challenge to change.
I feel I am accepted as a friend here and never has anyone required me to believe as they do nor have I asked any to believe as I do. We have different worships but can still sit and walk along side each other with no need to change the other.
I did not suggest you should be, or not be a part of the circle. nor did I ask your reason. Why do you address me on this matter? There are many other people on this forum. Why do you not address them? Why do you shine your light on me? If my God offends you as I am outside the circle, he would offend you more if I was inside. To be one of you I would have to accept all the group believes...this I would not do, no more than you accept my god, and what he says.

Just my awkward way to let you know there is no reason you would not be accepted in the circle.
If I am accepted anyone can be. My religious beliefs are quite different from virtually every person who Is a regular poster in this circle
I am not lingering here. I am responding to post addressed to me. You Sir, on the other hand, are like the little mizzen who stands behind the bush, and throws little pebbles...never addressing an issue.
You snicker, and you snar...yet you say nothing.

Woodrow, the way you've explained this thread is really lovely.
I don't think I've ever posted in this thread, though I come sometimes to just relax.
Thank you, but my God will have me sit before no other gods...even if it means my death.
domenic,as the originator of this thread, many years ago, let me first welcome you.I would like to explain that this thread was originally created as a place for people of all different faiths and beliefs to come and sit, without judgment, and to discuss many different things, it is a place of knowledge, it is a place where one can come and get support in times of need and it is a place, sometimes of humor, but first and foremost it is a place where we can all sit and not judge one another. I'm sure that your God would not object to you sitting among us, you can still keep your belief in your God we are not here to try and convert anybody to anybody else's belief or culture, we do share that information but it is merely in the pursuit of knowledge and friendship. So you're more than welcome to continue to sit within the sacred circle or not, the choice is yours but should you decide to sit among us at times you will always be welcomed. osay
