That makes sense, I think, also from some Pagan points of view. You're not really praying to the lake or the tree or the bird or stone or animal, but those things make a focal point and framework for the meditation.
All worship, prayer, and meditation make a focal point and framework for our consciousness to experience the "other" aspect of Reality sans sensory clutter.

Interesting.
Perhaps it would be fair to call the process reflecting and internalizing, rather than praying. Of course, I see Buddhist principles as almost a 'self-help' philosophy, rather than a religion. 'If you do these types of things, your karma will tend to improve. If you do these types of things, your karma will likely become more negative. Cause and effect, not a commandments based philosophy.
Anything and everything came by and through God.
It is the ultimate of hubris and arrogance that would have anyone passing judgment about how God is or isn't, or what God does or doesn't do relative to said creation.
Only the pinnacle of ignorant pomposity and imperiousness would have anyone critiquing the totality of God, in any way whatsoever.
I submit: People that would do this need to check themselves and get hip to real deal.

Are you suggesting we're not hip to the Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny?
The Energizer Bunny (and anything and everything else) is also God.
And it is correct that y'all are not hip to that.
Well, I'd be happy to get hip to this Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny if it would at least acknowledge us. But this Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny refuses to give us any indication it exists. Let this Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny give me some sort of sign that it exists and I'd gladly get hip to it.

"Aknowledge you"?!
HAHAHA!
It IS you...and anything & everything else.
The Supreme/Ultimate Reality is self-substantiating to exist.
ALL Reality exists...do you really need to get hip to that?

In the reality I inhabit there IS no Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny. Maybe this Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny inhabits your reality but anybody who is a realist and not a religionist will tell you they see no evidence of any kind of an Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny. Maybe this Omnimax-powered entity known as God aka the Energizer Bunny has always been going strong for you but for them it's not "still going strong". It was never going at all.

The God I perceive is Omnimax Powered...objectively exists...and is self-substantiating.
