And the only "Bible" there, would be that sacred scroll in a shrine.... I don't think it is a good idea to fetch it out. Besides that, the rabbi emailed me everyday of the Jerusalem news vice versa.
He was playing down the dickorectomy?

The answer is quite simple: conservative Christians take as a command The Great Commision from Jesus "Go into all the world..." hence the title of Evangelical Christians. Jews have no such directive in their faith, in fact they are/were considered tribes, or sharing a common lineage somewhere in history.

Because Jews are secure ...Christians need everyone to
believe as they do=insecurity slash immaturity.

I am kidding, pop psychology at work.

It is really only Evangelical types and some Cults that actively try to recruit.
Conservative Christians - and I am talking Catholics, Orthodox and most Protestants - do not try to add to their numbers by recruitment means or drives.

Why don't Jews try to proselytize people like Christians?

Integrity?

They did not gain (Or accept) their mechiach (Messiah) yet? They still were in punishment and expect a sign to rebuild the Temple? So God did not tell them it is time to take the God of Abraham to the world?

Those who claimed Jesus as Messiah. From the beginning. Knew it was time, to go tell their people AND THEN THE WHOLE WORLD. Nationhood again is the beginnings of the end of their punishment. Temple to rebuild? Is their expected next sign. For Orthodox Jews Mechiach IS EXPECTED YET. Perhaps because of centuries of Jesus is Messiah? Average Jews generally do not have the expectation of Mechiach any more? But rebuilt Temple yes.

That is my understanding.

I knew several jewish people in college and they never talked about their religion, meanwhile Christians were always trying to interject religion into conversation. Why is this?
Because they are the chosen people. They are basically an in-group where you don't get to be a part of unless you marry into it. Prospective Jews are actually talked out of conversion. Essentially, by definition, the chosen people doesn't want more people.

Christians on the other hand view it almost like this: the person you meet is hanging from a ledge. You can save him or do nothing. Doing nothing makes you a horrible human being though.

I'm Aiken. I have my own religious views, though I do go to Church. Sorta a weird combo of different religions. Ultimately, I've concluded that I can't really save you, and that belief systems are based on a personal framework (that is, a person's belief is their personal space, and just like stealing, you take privacy when you probe into the sex life or religion of people). Ideally, however, while I would not like to mess with others, I want and need company, so it shouldn't be a matter of "I need to control you or vice versa, or we can't be friends" that humans can have healthy non-manipulative relationships. I don't like the idea of proselytizing. "I'm interested tell me more," I can tell you more. But proselytizing feels immoral.

The same is true of all religion. Depending on their worldview, approach to conversion differs.

Default Why don't Jews try to proselytize people like Christians?

Jews tend to be pretty smart.

You can't draw blood out of a stone, ie you are not going to be able to suddenly convert an irreligious person that easily.
My Christian views are only very moderate like yours, and have spoken to enough atheists to know not to try any conversion attempts.
As much as I hate to say it, certain Christian groups that do proselytize - like door knocking, or accosting you at colleges or universities - the best way to get rid of them is by saying you are a non-believer.
In a way you feel like you are renouncing your faith, but it is the only thing that makes them give up on you straight away.
Unfortunately a high proportion of Christian groups that do actively approach you are not mainstream.

you can't turn on a tv or go to school today without hearing Jewish proselytizations,
although they are masked. See, they don't want you to become "Jewish", because that
would infringe on their gig, but they do want you to stop believing in Jesus.
