No, I promise it's not a troll..I got the message today that the group is for Christian Moms only, and they've decided that my Catholic beliefs are not aligned with Christ's teachings. I was asked to leave because we do not share the same fundamental beliefs.

I've been voted off the island.
Then they are wrong -- probably false Christians, to boot. You're better off not there.
Catholics ARE christian's is the point I am making. If they wont allow you to play in their reindeer games, they aren't christians at all. Play somewhere else.
The leader of the group emailed me and said that some of the other members have complained that they don't feel comfortable being around another mom and her children if they are not "Christian". Apparently, they believe that Catholics do not follow the teachings of Christ, that we do to many things to "try to be pure". We pray to Mary, worship the pope, etc....so I was asked to leave the group, since I'm not aligned with the Christian faith. That was it. No chance to explain.
Catholics and Non Catholic Christians have different views as far as who are Christians. For example, most Catholics that I know consider themselves Christians and consider other Protestant denominations such as baptist, methodist, Pentacostal and others as Christians as well. On the other hand, most protestant Christians that I know, especially the extreme fundamentalist do not consider Catholics as Christians. In fact, some baptist that I know will actually correct someone and state something like "No, John Doe is not a Christian, he is a Catholic".
