The only reason I was thinking of this question was because it reminded me of getting into colleges.
Ex: At certain colleges (for undergrad, grad, etc.) there is a minimum SAT/GRE/GPA to get considered. From all the applications, the ones that reach it will get put into a pile and the rest will get tossed. Then, the former will be considered on other merits and etc.
It won't get you in alone, but you need it to get in. Make sense?
I was thinking that for most guys, looks work the same way. He (and she) has to be physically attracted to the person, even if its in the least bit, for him to consider anything past friendship.

Agreed. The closest college equivalent is pass/fail. You either pass a man's test(s) for dating or you don't.

Well.. there are women who are probably great people, that might've been perfect for me, that I threw into the "No" pile because they weren't attractive.
Attraction is a hazy concept anyway, it is not carved into stone. Most people's opinions will adjust based on who and what they can attract.
So you would date a girl that you really don't even want to kiss?
What happens if she leans in?
