I purchased mine from Underwater Green Dock Lights & Fishing Lights - Green Underwater Lights Attract Fish Guaranteed! they are in Port Charlotte On Veterans Blvd.

There is a discount for purchasing at the store and if you pay cash there may or may not be an additional discount.

I looked at the LED lights but they don't put out as much light and in addition the incandescent bulbs give off a lot of heat and the heat keeps the growth off of the bulbs

I have the same light as mentioned above. They only cost around $6-8/mo to run all night every night. Had mine for two years now and the bulb is still bright (I clean it 1x per year)

Daughters visiting from out of town; redfish and black drum biting like crazy off the dock. Chum them up with crushed dead shrimp, then pull them in with whole live shrimp on a # 1 light wire circle hook on 15# fluorocarbon leader, single split shot. Kept 2 nice slot fish for fish sandwiches.

Hold on, buddy! I'll be down there I a month.
Oh, wait a minute. You said "fishing". I guess that means you expect to catch fish. If I'm there, it'll be more like just soaking some bait. Somehow the fish know when I'm around and get a case of lockjaw. I'll bring some Guiness or Yuengling Black & Tan. Makes the trip more enjoyable.

Ordered my Power Pole tonight. Not much variance in prices go those around the web but did save 10% ($159) on a cyber Monday coupon at West Marine. Went with an 8' Pro Series II in white. Can't wait to get it on and try it out.

By the way...got to experience 15' seas in Gale force winds, a few hundred miles off shore last week. Fortunately the vessel was 1187' long and 250' wide, weighing 225k tons. Did a 7 day cruise to St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Was nice to be away from computers and phones for a week but sure missed Fishing Charlotte Harbor. Missed the end of snook season without landing a slot. Will try again 3/1. Still plenty of edible fish this time of year. Should be out on Sat.

Some nice sized fish are being attracted to the new fish light. I would like To feed them, tried cat food but they have no interest...Gary
