Good Evening,

Unfortunately it appears that many of "Washington's Career Politicians," such as our Mr.Reed have naively adopted the grossly inaccurate "Politically Correct" version of American history. Of course this is the most likely reason why that the Majority Leader had a bit of difficulty regarding the subject matter of (cobolt's) above post.

It is absolutely an idiotic and a pathetic shame that Mr. Reed would unthinkingly demonstrate such a kindergarden mentality and willingly resort to such immature name calling against other politicians whom disagree with his extremely wreckless leadership on "National Health Care".

To maliciously call other politicians "Supporters Of Slavery" simply because they will not under any circumstances willingly support the absurdity of the current "Health Package", is without doubt a prime example of extreme perversity on Mr. Reed's part !

It is truly an example of the "Cry Baby" whom is not getting it's way and of course as we would readily expect whines and lashes out with a name calling triade directed at the first person in sight !

The American People deserve so much better than this !

Thank You / Lamar

The Black Republican Caucus doesn't exist because there aren't any.
The same thing was repeated by DEMOCRATS during the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and anti-lynching legislation!! The democrats still have a former member of the KKK as their senior senator.

Conservatives don't distinguish people by their skin, period. Libs are always the ones bringing up color. Pay attention.

Really wandering far into fantasy land today? Now then, back to the real world. For starters, the Republican National Committee has a chairman. His name is Michael Steele.Mr. Steele would be astounded if and when he found out that he was considered a non person by the organization he chairs. Not very logical is it,but then again, when are liberals ever logical?

The democrats are engaging in the same tactics that made the GOP so despised under Bush.

Gee, I didn't know Senator Robert Byrd was a Republican. Perhaps he should appologize to Senator Byrd, former high ranking member of the KKK, for putting him in with Republicans.

Reid Compares Opponents of Health Care Reform to Supporters of Slavery

AP
Dec. 6: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid talks to the media after the Senate Democratic caucus that President Obama attended on Capitol Hill in Washington (AP).

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took his GOP-blasting rhetoric to a new level Monday, comparing Republicans who oppose health care reform to lawmakers who clung to the institution of slavery more than a century ago.
The Nevada Democrat, in a sweeping set of accusations on the Senate floor, also compared health care foes to those who opposed women's suffrage and the civil rights movement -- even though it was Sen. Strom Thurmond, then a Democrat, who unsuccessfully tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and it was Republicans who led.................

Can we say now that the Dems are getting more that a little desperate??
Black people wake up!!! Don't you see how the Democrats throw this kind of rhetoric out there because they think we like it and it makes it look like they are on OUR SIDE???

They are using us!!! They will say whatever they think you want to hear!! I swear we are more divided in this country than ever before.
