Children's cartoons are part of a government plot to brainwash us. (Alex Jones is immune. Conspiracy guys are always immune to the brainwashing they see everywhere. Nothing beats white-guy egotism!)
Organized religion is brainwashing us. (Doesn't Alex realize brainless people cannot brainwash?)
My cable show brainwashes you. (If that were true, people would be sending me money.)
The secret ruling elite of the world are putting up buildings that look like owls. (Only conspiracy people can see these owls, in case you were wondering. I wonder why they don't build pyramids with eyes on top of them.)
Most major police chiefs are CIA operatives.
Gloria Steinham is a CIA operative.
The voting-machine companies are openly run by the CIA. ("Openly run by the CIA" sounds like an oxymoron to me.)
The Quakers are communists. (Er...I thought communists were atheists. Of course, right-wing loonies have no concept of what communism is.)
All of Clinton's cabinet were Jewish. (Alex is not anti-Semitic. I don't know why he said this. Another dream, I guess.)
People in Holland have tattoos saying "Don't Kill Me." (Evidently a tougher country than we thought.)
Lyndon Johnson had John Kennedy killed. (I guess JFK was stupid, choosing LBJ as his running mate like that. Conspiracy guys are stupid, so they think everybody is stupid.)
The UN has sold thousands of children into slavery & for snuff films.
Gays are actively recruiting in our schools. (Why do right-wing loonies always believe this?)
The government keeps "giant, honeycombed hives full of toddlers drugged on lithium" (twirling their moustaches & going "NYA-HAHAHAHA!" The government...not the toddlers.)

If a right wing totalitarian government is reading these posts they must have realized GregW is am armed socialist. Let them read and consider the ramifications of that observation.

I just love Alex Jones. The Coast to Coast Conspiracy Show used to be fun, too.

Where do they get the man and womanpower to spy on people ? If you feel that they are spying on you, then give 'em an earfull ! Waste their time as they bite into a chicken wing, and slug down some coffee. Envision "Dilbert" craning his ears to catch that last "plotline" then he gets on the web to contact the boss. Two can play that game.

this is true, cia computers scan all the email in the country looking for terrorists to protect you but if you would like them turned off so guys like the guy in denver can kill a few more americans say it. the software looks for key words or names and then the questionable emails get sent to people in the cia to check out. if they didn't do this you would be complaining that they were not protecting us enough so it comes down to us or them, let us know if you want to prevent terrorism or just wait until something happens. then you will be dead and car lots here will be full of camels.

A frighteningly similar scenario is now on the horizon with the news that the CIA’s investment arm In-Q-Tel is putting cash into Visible Technologies, a company that monitors the output of social media, in order to “Read your blog posts, keep track of your Twitter updates — even check out your book reviews on Amazon,” reports Wired News.

Of course, the fact that the U.S. government and the military have been overloading the Internet with pro-war propaganda and trolls who are paid to cheerlead for the war on terror and attack critics is an admitted part of their cyberwarfare agenda, and Israel has done the same.

However, the prospect of the CIA closely monitoring social networking websites, whose content largely comprises of inane gossip and sophomoric blabber, shows just how afraid the establishment is of rising popular opposition to their agenda'.

Since the """Patriot Act""" the NSA gets a copy of EVERY THING that is posted and your IP address, Every email, post and twitter is copied. Their only problem is how to find the ones they want out of the millions daily

a huge pile of intelligence just sitting there in the open and someone thinks nobody will take advantage of that? hello...
that's like sitting out fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at a weight watchers meeting and expecting nobody to touch them just because they should know better

why even make a statement like that? You know you can't back it up, even if you actually did know that was a fact.
and millions daily? look at what you listed and tell me there are only millions of them every day..

Analyzing the content of what is on public websites is in no way comparable to eavesdropping on what people are saying in the privacy of their homes. It's not even comparable to listening in on phone conversations. Your blog posts are not private.
