...In Denver, a law was passed allowing such women to leave their infant at "safe places" such as a fire station, with no repercussions, and some have taken advantage of this. Others have left their newborns in a toilet. .....
I believe the "safe places" is in place nationwide.
It is so depressing; we'd be hard pressed to even wrap our minds around how many girl children are left to die--just like cil mentioned--but in the hundreds.
One agency is apparently trying to save them--as best as they can--and I don't know with what funds.
