Yes they do, but yet some people support that side.
Gotta be told again and again I guess but you do understand the difference between supporting a side and not wanting to see the destruction of civilization don't you? Ukraine should have taken the deal offered in early 2022. because every day that goes by it gets worse and worse for them.

No, there's people on here that actually support that side. It's one thing to not want to send aid especially while we have our border crisis, but there's people who enjoy watching the Ukrainians getting slaughtered and thinking they deserve it. And if they had taken that deal in 2022 who knows if Putin would have lived up to his end of it. You know how he is.

People support their side for various reasons. Nothing different from any other war. I don't however recall people celebrating Ukrainians getting slaughtered. As with any conflict soldiers and civilians suffer from the decisions made by elites who often never bare no physical consequences. There is nothing worthy of celebrating.
OK< there are two guilty in this war.
1. Russia guilty of attacking souvenir country (no, I didn't misspell. Ukraine is a project country completely controlled by US and now, mostly by GB)
2. West and US guilty of ignoring Russia, considering it a colossus on clay legs and provoking it, as the result, into this action.
You are welcome to pick your side.
Also, davidt, why don't you post some videos, plenty available, of Ukraine forces bombarding break away republics civilians and now, Russian territory ones? Oh, sorry, I forgot. That's different, right?
Looking at figures for Russian Net Profit/Deficit, it can be seen that for all of 2021 Russia was in profit, bringing in more money every month than was spent.
In 2022, they continued the trend until November, when expenses overtook income and the number dipped below zero into negative territory.
The negative numbers continued through every month in 2023, becoming worse as the expense of war built up. In 2024 there is not much to see yet, but the figures do not look good for Russia.
We don't know when or how the war will end yet, but ending the war will bring a shock to the Russian economy, which has been configured to a war-time manufacturing economy. Suddenly Russia may find no need for artillery shells, and at the same time be prevented from selling much else because of sanctions.
In other words, the poor economic conditions in Russia will become even worse when the war ends.

Seeing as Putin will be probably be voted in for another 6 years, an end to the war with Putin still in power will most definitely worsen the Russian economy even more so.
Removing Putin is their only way forward.
Maybe in the 40’s and 50’s we should have supported the USSR with their goal of World Communism?
